Avon PTA is currently looking for volunteers for two committees.
The nominating committee is responsible for compiling the names of people interested in being a part of the executive board for the 2015-16 school year. To be a member of this committee, you must not be interested in being on the executive board next year. The PTA is also looking for a group to review our bylaws and standing rules.
If you are interested in either committee, email Amanda Spears email@example.com for more information.
Different levels of Sponsorship opportunities are still available for our Bingo event! Please contact Amanda Spears, firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
Are you interested in serving in a leadership role with the PTA for the 2015/2016 school year? If you are interested in any of the Executive Board positions, please submit your interest to Amanda Spears at email@example.com by the end of February. The PTA's Nominating Committee will review the list of names submitted and present a slate of recommendations for all positions at the April 2015 meeting. PTA members vote on the recommendations at the May 2015 meeting. If you are interested in chairing or assisting with a Committee, please also email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can have some crossover training with the current committee members.

Welcome to the new school year! The Avon PTA invites all Avon Village and Avon East elementary parents, guardians and caregivers to be involved through participation in the PTA. Joining is one of the best ways to show you are committed to supporting your child’s school and to educational excellence. You can find a 2014/2015 membership form by clicking here or by using the form you received at open house. Membership fees are $5 for an individual and $10 for the family. A portion of each membership dues gets paid to the National and Ohio PTA. They provide us with many resources and help our organization run smoothly.
We welcome and encourage you to join a committee or to become a room parent. Visit our website for more details on the many committees we have to support our children, schools and teachers.
