The task was to design a residential space inspired by a self chosen structure. The task also includes placing the residential space in an area most suited for it and have a user who would suit the particular design concept with which it was made . The design of my model for the residential space was an atom. The structure of an atom has a fixed centre which gives it a focal point and it is an interesting feature.Taking this fixed point and surrounding it with different elements would create a certain visual harmony which could be an important part of the project. Secondly the rings in the structure of the atom would allow creation of various spaces and the intersection of the rings would give a definite division of spaces as well. The only negative attribute of the atom is that it is very symmetrical in nature which would restrict changing of shapes and directional distance of the spaces that are created. It would then totally deviate from the structure of the atom . This is the first stage in the design process where I made an outline of the of the intersecting rings. After that I made a few changes to the outline to get properly divided spaces which could have their own function . This is the second stage in the design process where I decided the number of rooms I would want in the residential space and how many people would stay in it. In this case I decided to have a family of four who would live in the house. As you can see a few spaces have been eliminated and changed. There is a clear view about what function a particular space in this design would take for example: The space in the centre which has a connection to every space around it would be the hall of the house. Then the elongated and thinned space in the centre of the right side would be the entrance to the main house and act as a passage way which would lead to the house. The other spaces on the top and bottom would include a master bedroom for the parents, a room for the children, a kitchen and finally an activity the family would like to do together. There are three main attractions in the residential space that I am designing the first one is the lift in which I would have a multifunction to as in it would not only have the functions of a lift .Secondly the swimming pool , it wouldn’t just be an ordinary pool like in every other house or building I wanted to somewhat have the attributes of a water park. Thirdly the particular house that I am making would have a ground level and a terrace level over every room including the passage way or the entrance to the house .The reason for doing so is that every terrace would have a different function and as per the users mood he could go to any of them to satisfy his need for the moment .This function makes the house flexible in the minds of the users as they can have a variety of things that they would desire and have instant access to .All the above will be further explained with the architecture and interior design of the house. We had to search an inspiring site that would suit the attributes and the uniqueness of the design of the Residential space that we create. The site that I have chosen is in Dubai on Jumeirah Road right next to the beach and overlooking the blue see.It is one of the most beautiful sights that anyone can choose , the clean beach with white sand , the clear sea with blue water and constant passing winds. This kind of atmosphere is most suited for the residential space that I am designing as I had planed to have various terraces with different uses and all of them facing this view would be amazing .And so you can say the placement of the residential space has to quit an extent influenced the design of it. The users to this house would be young people and a family of four that wouldn’t mind experimenting with the house they would live in and obviously have a modern way of thinking. This is the final design of the residential space which includes one master bedroom ,a children’s bedroom ,a kitchen with washing area ,a swimming pool area ,the passage entrance and finally the hall. As u can see every room has a curvy wall except the hall. The curvy portion in the rooms is complete glass with a small wall above and below .The hall consists of two sofas a complete glass stairway leading to the terrace level and an elevator .If take a look the elevator is not only just an elevator it has in it a w.c ,a basin and shower. It is like a changing room for the pool area ,it is a bathroom and a lift which could take you from the ground floor to the terrace level. As u can see the swimming pool has a slide coming from one of the terraces and gives it a sort of water park attribute. This is the terrace level where you can see every terrace has a different function .One of the terraces has a garden , one has sand which gives the feeling of a beach ,one has a Jacuzzi with a slide going down to the lower level swimming pool and the last one

After running to Pacific Boarder with Dragana to pick up some new boots I hopped in the car with my dad and we were off to Seattle. The border was uneventfull and the weather was pretty much schitzofrenic the whole way. One second sunshine so I couldn't see... next second fog.. so I couldn't see.. then super hard rain.. so I couldn't see. The theme of the trip was definitly not seeing much. Once we got to the airport I checked in real quick, didn't pay any fines on my bag and then headed to find the medical area or whatever... so they could give me my blood thinner shots. I was turned away by person after person. They sent me information, they sent me to airport security, they sent me to the Police... the police advised me that I will have to go to a hospital nearby, but they are busy, so it would be a pretty tight call. As he was telling me this, I pretty much just though... awww fuck this. So I went out.. went into the bathroom, pulled out the shots and the instructions.. and gave myself a crash course in giving shots. 1. Clean injection area with alcohol and cotton swab to minimize bruising and infection... nope.. no cotton swabs.. no alcohol.. in fact im sitting in a public bathroom. Next! 2. Inject into fatty tissue on the stomach. Oh god. Are you serious? I have to stick a needle in my stomach? I stuck the needle in my stomach. It didn't really hurt that much.. but then you have to slowly push in the plunger. And I just realized that I had to see how much i was injecting.. cause the needle had 7 units.. and i needed 5. Luckily the measurement things were on the OTHER side of the needle, so I had to rotate it while it was stabbed into my stomach. 3. Slowly push down plunger and inject substance. No problem. Except that my hands (I hate needles like hell and they scare the shit out of me) were shaking reeeally bad, so that didn't feel too good. But eventually I got all of it into me. I then disposed of the needle and such. With my blood properly thinned I proudly went to catch my horribly late plane. (The injection sites are bruised and gross, and are getting grosser because the bruises are changing colors. Oh well, I'm not a nurse, and I didn't get any blood clots, so I guess it worked out. Plus they are just little mini bruises.) My connection flight was also late, but I almost missed it. I was the very last person that got onto the plane, and everyone was already in their seats. I was stoked! Once I got to Zurich, I was told my bags didn't make it... and so I decided to wait the few hours that it would take for them tor them to get there. This guy Pav came and picked me up. We waited together for the luggage to arrive, and I found out that he knew Fabia and Bern because Pav's girlfriend was friends with Fabia, and Pav had actually seen me fly off the cliff last year from somewhere else down in the valley. Sweet. Once I had my bag we headed to Morgins in a second hand BMW station wagon that he had just bought in Munich. Pav buys Audi's, BMW's and such cars in Germany, then drives them to Spain and sells them for a healthy profit. Pretty sweet deal. It was snowing pretty hard, and we figured we would need chains for when we got the Morgins. So we hopped into a service station, Pav walked up to the counter and said, "Can I have chains and some condoms please?" The cashier didn't understand condoms and Pav repeated the word about 6 times with no success. I was laughing my ass off. We grabbed the chains and continued down the snowy highway. We soon realized he was out of windshield wiper fluid and had to stop again at another service station. Again Pav walked up to the cashier and said " Can I have some Fluid and condoms please? ... Condoms... CON-DOMS... condoms... condoms.... yah.. condoms..." He had to repeat it several times, until she finally understood and brought out a variety of condoms. She kinda looked at us.. and Pav was like... dude.. we aren't together! Hahahhahah. Too good. Hours later we ALMOST got up to Morgins without chains. We were pretty much sliding up the hill sideways near the end of it, and then finally had to put the chains on. So in the dark we gave ourselves a crash course in putting on chains from the instructions included. It was funny, and HORRIBLE in the -15 celcius and falling snow. Touching and puling and handling metal in that temperature is just painful. We got the chains on eventually and finally got to our place. Sleep and shower was glooooorious. This morning we went riding. Oh my god it's as amazing as I remember it. Though I don't remember much. But god damn, there is powder everywhere, huge mountains, and we even saw a fawn running through the trees as we were riding down. Now we made some great pasta, drank a few beers, and I am so relaxed it almost hurts. Actually it does hurt, my body is kind of complaining. Tonight its party time, and tomorrow more riding. It's still snowing.. wooohoooo.
