Submission

We welcome 2-page short-form submissions and 6-page long-form submissions (in either case plus a page containing only references). Submissions should be formatted using JMLR Workshop and Proceedings format; here is an example LaTeX file: http://www.automl.org/jmlrwcp-sample.tex (if you don't have them already, you'll also need the files jmlr.cls and algorithm2e.sty).

For presentation only, we also encourage submissions of previously-published material that is closely related to the workshop topic. Such papers should clearly indicate where they have been/will be published. Such papers do not need to adhere to the 6-page limit.

The CMT submission page is here. Accepted papers will be made available online and will be presented as posters & poster spotlights at the workshop.

Important Dates:

There are two submission cycles: the regular one suggested by ICML (with notification before the early registration deadline on May 15), and one for late breaking papers whose authors do not require notification before the early registration deadline.
Both deadlines are equal in every nature except for the submission and notification dates.

  • Submission deadline: 1 May, 2015, 11:59pm UTC-12 (closed)
  • Notification of acceptance: 10 May, 2015
  • Submission deadline (late breaking papers): 8 June, 2015, 11:59pm UTC-12 (closed)
  • Notification of acceptance: 18 June, 2015
Note on dual submissions:

Since we do not have formal proceedings, from our side it is acceptable to submit a shortened version of a longer paper that is currently under review, potentially with a different title. To avoid violating dual submission policies of other venues, such submissions should appropriately refer to the longer paper. Reviewers are not required to check the longer version when judging the submission.
