Atomic Mushroom - Parisian Fire Breather
Atomic Mushroom - Parisian Fire Breather
Atomic Mushroom - Parisian Fire Breather I really have to start a new set that's called "Paris You Are Missed!" Everyone knows that Paris is one of the most magical cities in the world but what I love is how the people there absolutely love their art. On a normal worktime lunch break, the average group of American men would discuss sports at least 65% of the time. I like sports and I'm not against that; however, I value my worktime lunches I had in Paris that were filled with discussions of photography. We'd talk about different photography styles, post processing, and I was frequently asked about the father of American photographers, Ansel Adams. Several Parisian Flickrites meet to watch and take photographs of local fire breathers every Saturday. I was fortunate enough to be invited and I absolutely loved it. One tip I can offer about shooting fire is that people tend to over expose (especially with a lot of ambient light). Set your camera to Manual mode and crank up the shutter speed. As you can see below, this shot was taken at 1/1250 of second. Camera Data from this shot: Camera: Nikon D3 Lens: Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 F Stop: f/5.6 Shutter: 1/1250 of a second ISO: 200
