Day 242/365 - Murderer
[10:03pm] I got out of bed today at around 12:30, kind of ticks me off because both the parents and my sister had been up for several hours and they neglected to wake me up. Anyway, I showered and got dressed, and just as I was about to walk down to the pool the parents showed up. They didn't go to the meeting that I thought they were going to, instead they had spent the morning by the pool. They suggested that I go back over to Universal with Callie so after a little bit of persuading we went. That's when the trouble started. Now keep in mind that yesterday I had mom's cell phone in my pocket the whole time. Callie didn't have any pockets on her pants so I was forced to carry it, just like yesterday, In the same pocket of the same pants. We walked over and we waited in line to go on the Hulk, of course we coulnt use the express passes if we wanted to go front row so it took a few minutes but finally we got on, the cell phone securely in my pocket. The ride started and I stopped thinking about the cell phone until I felt it slip a little. Oh god no. I tried to move myself to a position where I was sitting on the opening of the pocket but I couldn't do it and finally about 3/4 of the way throught the roller coaster I felt it slip completly out of my pocket and on to the hard granite gravel 30 feet below. I tried to believe that it had fallen into the car behind us but hearing "Oh NO!" from the people behind us kind of confirmed that it was gone. I was pissed. After we got off the ride I didn't say anything until we were about halfway down the ramp when Callie asked me what was wrong. Then she was pissed. I explained that she had insurance on the thing so it wasn't going to be a fiscal loss but I doubt that was much consolation seeing as she's glued to that thing 24/7. She really wanted to go back but I forced her on one more ride, SpiderMan. That perked her up a little, but after that she wanted to eat something so we had pizza at one of the incredibly overpriced resturaunts. It was good but after the best of attempts at making her not want to leave, she did so we walked back to the hotel. The parents were at the pool so we explained what happend, they weren't mad thankfully so I was ready to go back to the park. Of course Callie was in a bit of a snit so she delayed as much as possible the inevtable. We ordered drinks and after I spilled a Virgin Strawberry Daqurie all down the front of my shirt we went back to Universal. We didn't do much once we got back inside the park though, we just waited in line for Dueling Dragons front row, that was actually really cool. After all that I got some Ice Cream while Callie stalked a girl with an iPhone. She's gotten a little wierd about that kind of thing. Anyway we went back to the hotel after that. We hung around the hotel for a little while until 7 we got dressed and headed down to the lobby where we met up with all of the Audigy people and went over to the Old universal studio's for dinner. They've really dressed the park up for Halloween, and the guy's with the chainsaws scared the crap out of me once simply because I didn't see him until he was basically on top of me. But it's still not as good as Busch Gardens. Anyway dinner was just a crappy buffet but after I ate I got to go around and take pictures for everybody. Yes playing worthless peon isn't the most fun on the planet but at least I'm gonna get paid for it. After dinner we went out into the park and walked around for a little before going to go on Jaws. That really was the most fun I've had on a stupid ride like that. I mean go on something like that with a bunch of semi-inebriated 30 somethings and see what I mean. A little wierd, but alot of fun. Anyway after Jaws I was really done, my knees were killing me, my back was really hurting, I have blisters on both of my heels and my big toe and my head hurts. Not fun. Now I'm just sitting in bed watching Evan Almighty, its not bad, kinda corny but Steve Carell is pretty funny. Long night. I'm gone.
Modified Boy Trunks for my Baby girl
Finally, I tied a matching ribbon to the string ties on the waist band and because my baby likes to undo things, I tacked the ribbon down with a few stitches to keep those wondering fingers from undoing the final touch.
