Random facts and things you may already know or might have gleaned from my stream in no particular order. 1. I was given money for a new suit for Xmas. I ended up with two and two shirts and two ties and spent over twice as much as I was given. A sucker born Feb 15 1963. But I have not bought a new suit since I left my career in the hotel business in New Orleans behind 10 years ago. 2.I've learned to love a lot of things about Maryland. But I still know what it means to miss New Orleans and Texas and even Shreveport. 3. I love old movies and bizzare movies. I saw 2001 on the big screen when I was 6, 2000 Maniacs at a drive in in Flint, Texas when I was (i think) younger than that, and Nosferatu when I was a little older. Obviously these things warped me. 4. i could not grow facial hair until I was in my 30's. 5. I'm of Scottish, Welsh, Irish, English, French, American Indian, and German ancestry. I'm a descendant of Robert the Bruce through his bastard daughter Margaret on my Dad's side. 6. I used to sing, drum and dance with the Many Nations Singers in New Orleans 7. I teach fencing. Modern sport fencing (foil) and historical swordsmanship (16th/17th century rapier, 18th century smallsword). I dabble in modern epee, 19th century Italian dueling sabre, and on special occasions; medieval German longsword. My knees hurt all the time. 8. These facts, like my self portraits are intentionally obscure ofuscations. You'll have to read between the lines and look at the pictures. 9. I have ecletic but particular taste in music. I don't care for most pop or hip hop. Mostly I like rock, folk, punk, alternative, blue grass and things that defy categorization. Faves include U2, The Who, The Doors, Bowie, The Band, The Clash, REM, Elvis Costello, Replacements, Husker Du, Sugar, Mike Doughty, Counting Crows, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Decemberists, Okkervil River. I have close to 500 vinyl lps and no working turntable. 10. I have two daughters, one a budding artist of 11 years and one a maturing artist of 19 years. Clare, the eldest, is currently studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I have a delightful 14 year old son who is blind and autistic. He makes me laugh a lot more than he makes me cry. 11. Halloween is and has always been my favorite holiday. 12. I feel a kniship with crows and wolves. Hence the somewhat cheesy moniker that dates back to the 80's. I'm also fascinated by primates of all sorts. 13. I have a degree in Sociology with a minor in Anthropology from Millsaps College, Jackson, MS. I moved to New Orleans to attend gradute school in Anthropology at Tulane. Never finished that degree but fell in love with the city. 14. I've been an Apple Macintosh fan ever since my Commodore Amiga died. My first computer was a Tandy TRS-80 Color computer with 4K of memory. 15. I used to do interior design, faux finishes, murals and painted furniture. I also did beadwork, leather work, jewelry, wearable art and polymer clay sculpture. I like to paint with acrylics and oils. I also like found object and mixed media assemblages and gaming miniatures. 16. I procrastinate. I still have not picked up my new suits.

—Meanwhile in the dining room— Dane: *kneels in front of a sobbing Wren* “Hey, if swear never to sing Irish folk again, will you swear never to cry like this again?” Wren: *throws arms around Dane’s neck, sobs into his shirt* Dane: *gently rubs Wren’s back* “You want to tell me what this is about?” Wren: *pulls back, wipes eyes with backs of hands* “I don’t suppose you have a Kleenex on you?” Dane: *offers her the sleeve of his shirt* “I got something better.” Wren: “I’m not wiping my snot on you, Dane.” Dane (lightly): “I live with Dan and Caid. Trust me. Your snot is the least disgusting thing that’s happened to me all week.” Wren: *watery laugh, wipes face on his shirt* “Thanks.” Dane: “I live to serve.” Wren: “I’m sorry about the histrionics. It’s just…that used to be our song—Fletch’s and mine. We were dancing to it the first time I realized he was more than just a goofy family friend to me. And after we started dating, he used to sing it to me when we were alone together. He said I’d always be his…*face crumples* Galway girl.” Dane (urgently): “Call him, Wren. Call him and tell him what happened. You’re wasting time. Time you won’t ever get back. After I lost my Alice, I’d have given anything in the world to have back all the time I squandered being away from her.” Wren (compassionately): “If I could give you your Alice back, I would—in a heartbeat. But it’s not quite the same thing, Dane.” Dane: “Yeah, because Alice is dead and there’s nothing I can do about it. Your Fletcher’s still here and you’re throwing everything away. It’s madness!” Fashion Credits **Any doll enhancements (i.e. freckles, piercings, eye color changes) were done by me unless otherwise stated.** Wren Dress: Spin master – Liv Doll Belt: Fashion Royalty – Nu.Face – Great Pretender Lilith Boots: Fashion Royalty – Nu.Face – London by Night Ayumi Plastic Doll Cuff with ‘studs’: No idea Doll Diva Exclusive ‘Metal’ Bracelet Set: Knife’s Edge Designs (me) Doll is an Element of Surprise Lilith Dane Jeans: Mattel – James Dean – distressed by me T-shirt: Ty Girlz/Boyz Doll Belt: Miema (etsy.com) Sneakers: Volks – WTG – Soul Drive Hat: Fashion Royalty – Homme/Nu.Face – In the Mix Takeo Leather ‘Cuff Me’ Bracelet: Knife’s Edge Designs (me) Doll is a Night Vision Count Adrian
