St. Cuthberts, Forcett

Robert DAVISON  was born about 1734 to his parents  John DAVISON (1708) and  Lydia HENLOCK (1712-1755). He was christened on the 26th September 1733 at Hurworth on Tees, Durham. He was married at 34 years of age to  Ann ALLISON (aged 30), the daughter of John and Mary ALLISON on the 10th May 1768 at St Cuthberts Church, Forcett, North Riding, Yorkshire, England.  Witnesses to the marriage were John ALLISON and Ruth SINGLETON. Robert was a farmer and with his wife they both died at Union House p Easby, North Riding. Robert and Ann on the 14th August, 1824 was buried on the 24th February 1820 at St Cuthberts Church, Forcett.

Robert and Ann's Children were:

1.1.  Lydia DAVISON was born at East Cowton, Yorkshire about 1768 and was christened on the 2nd May 1969 at Wycliffe, Yorkshire. She married William GENT on the 28th November 1793 at Sockburn, Durham. In 1851 they were residing at Naanans Leases, Alborough. William died in 1853 at Forcett and was buried on the 2nd January 1853 at St Cuthbert's, Forcett. Lydia was buried on the 10th November 1857 at St Cuthbert's, Forcett.

    Lydia and William's children were:
        1.1.1 John GENT (1803-1855)

        1.1.2 Lydia Elizabeth GENT (1809-1889)

1.2  Mary DAVISON was christened  16 Jun 1771 Wycliffe, Yorkshire.

1.3 Anne DAVISON was christened  30 May 1773 Wycliffe, Yorkshire.

1.4 Robert DAVISON was christened  12 Sep 1775 Wycliffe, Yorkshire.
