Who Is It For?

The Merit Badge Fair is open to all Boy Scouts in the Seattle area, inside or outside of the Aurora District. Capacity is limited in each class, and advance sign up is available on the right side of this page.

How Much Does It Cost?

The merit badge fair is free for Scouts to attend. Scouts should have their 10 essentials and specified gear or pre-work with them. Note that food for Scouts is not provided.

Will I Finish Every Badge I Work On?

Any prerequisites or 'at-home' work will be noted in the information for each class- individual class pages are available from the left hand navigation on this page. Some Merit Badges require personal effort that may not be possible in the classroom, such as completing a certain number of camping trips.

What's provided?

Teaching from registered and experienced counselors, and a lot of fun! Note that Scouts should have their ten essentials with them, and as with all Scout events, should be dressed in uniform.

I've signed up for a class, but won't be able to attend/ have rebooked into a different class. How do I cancel registration for a class I don't want or need?

We're still working on an easy way to cancel or update registrations. In the meantime, contact Brian Youtzy (youtzyb@gmail.com) with the Scout to be removed, and the class to be cancelled.

How Do I Sign Up?

Capacity is limited in each class. Sign up for classes by selecting the specific sessions you want below. Open space in each class is shown below 'Book Your Classes.' Any classes with availability may be available for walk-up registration Saturday morning.

Scouts can EITHER choose TWO 2-hour classes, or ONE 4-hour class. For 4-hour classes, a single registration form is required.
