New riders being accepted for Spring 2013!

posted Dec 30, 2012, 9:04 AM by AU Equestrian

The AU Equestrian Team will be accepting both competing and noncompeting new members for the upcoming semester. We will NOT be holding an informational meeting, however, we will be offering one-time trial lessons for interested new riders (at a cost of $45). Although we will try our best to accommodate each person's schedule, please keep in mind that the lesson schedule for the Spring has already been made, and new riders will need to have availability to join one of the existing lesson times. Please contact us at aueqteam@gmail.com if you have any further questions.

New Trainer, New Barn, New and Improved AUET Spring 2011!

posted Dec 5, 2010, 8:00 PM by AU Equestrian

Next semester the team will be at a new farm with a new trainer. As a growing team with big goals, we have found a good match for our training needs with Oatland Farms in Brookeville, Maryland. Its about a half hour drive from campus. We will be working under the instruction of Astrid "Star" Dalley starting in January 2011. The fees for the semester will remain at $500 for 10 - 13 weekly group lessons.

All of us on your e-board are so excited about this transition!  You can find more information about the new barn on their website, http://www.oatlandstables.com/. If you'd like to see the facility or get details from us, feel free to email the team at aueqteam@gmail.com.

There will be an informational meeting early next semester to work out the details of lessons and shows, so if you'd like to get more involved with the team next semester, feel free to attend!  Details on the meeting to follow.
