Alex Q. Farrell
I am a senior in Auburn University's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, majoring in Aerospace Engineering.  I am currently involved in the National Science Foundation's Research Experience for Undergraduates, researching Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's).  My main interest in UAV's involves improving design characteristics to increase UAV's maneuverability and overall performance.  A summary of my current research can be found under the attachments below.

I was born in Pennsylvania, but moved to Auburn, AL at age 6.  By the time I finished elementary school I moved back to Pennsylvania, this time to Quakertown, PA, where I spent the next 8 years.  I graduated from Quakertown Community Senior High School in June 2007.  After graduating high school, I followed my dream of moving back to Auburn to attend Auburn University.

Other Interests:
My other interests include music, sports, family and friends.  I enjoy a wide variety of music, but some of my favorite genre is Classic Rock.  I also enjoy almost all sports, although my favorites are Hockey and Football.  The teams I am most passionate about are the Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Cowboys, and of course the Auburn Tigers. Congrats Flyers on an incredible post-season run!
