Welcome to our church

The Atherton Restoration Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ is a church rich in history.  While we have an Independence address, our branch is located in the small town of Atherton, Missouri.  It is located northeast of Independence and in the lowlands of the Little Blue River.  Our town is mainly a farming community, but we have members from as close as Atherton to communities farther away such as Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Liberty, Buckner, etc.

We have an abundance of young families in our congregation, as well as people who have held the congregation together through renovations and changes in World Church policies.   Many of our members have gathered in from faraway places.  We are a diverse people who are working on being, "one heart and one mind."  Won't you join us?
