    optical mouse
  • A mouse that uses an LED and optical sensor to detect movement and send signals to the computer.
  • Optical mice work in the same manner as traditional mice, the difference being that an optical mouse has an infrared sensor in place of the traditional mouse ball.
  • An optical mouse uses a light-emitting diode and photodiodes to detect movement relative to the underlying surface, unlike wheeled mice which use a set of one rolling ball and two chopper wheels for motion detection.
    rechargeable
  • A rechargeable battery or storage battery is a group of one or more electrochemical cells. They are known as secondary cells because their electrochemical reactions are electrically reversible.
  • capable of being recharged; "a rechargeable battery"
  • As soon as you use up your balance, you can ask your provider to recharge your calling card with an amount chosen by you.
    wireless
  • transmission by radio waves
  • Lacking or not requiring wires

Do you have Optical Mouse
Do you have Optical Mouse
Keep an eye on the cursor on your monitor, Move your mouse left, right, top, bottom. When you move your mouse the cursor moves accordingly, Iam sure all of us have wondered how it happens. Just lift your mouse and see the bottom, if you see a small ball, then you are using “Mechanical Mouse” and if you see a red colour light then you are using the latest “Optical Mouse” Now let us see “How optical mouse works” The Optical Mouse was introduced in the late 1999 by Agilent Technologies. It consists of a single LED (Light Emitting Diode) which bounces light off the surface onto a CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor sensor). This sensor helps track the movement of the mouse by scanning the surface approximately 1500 times every second. The images taken by the sensor are passed on to the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) which analyses them for differences. It can detect patterns in the images and see how those patterns have moved since the previous image. Based on the change in patterns over a sequence of images it can determine how far the mouse has moved across your desk and at what speed. The (X, Y) coordinates are then sent to the computer which moves the cursor on the screen. The DSP detects patterns and analyses patterns at a very high speed in order to avoid jerky movement. The main advantage of Optical mouse over Mechanical mouse : There are no moving parts, so less wear and inurn less chance for failure. You don’t have to worry about dirt entering the mouse interfering mouse movement You don’t need a special surface like Mouse pad Hope you have planned to change to the “Optical mouse”
