Athena Salaba is an Assistant Professor in the School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University. She holds a Ph.D. from the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MLIS from Kent State University.
My research areas include organization of information, resource description and access with emphasis on subject access to information, knowledge organization systems (KOS), conceptual modeling of knowledge organization, user information-seeking behavior and user studies.
