Boy’s Youth Fall Clinics and Small Area Games - 2017

Locations:  Camp Dawson and Mount Olive

ATH-ED SPORTS, INC.

What's New?  This fall our youth student-athletes will meet with our Ath-Ed Coaching Staff for one-hour sessions.  Each session will include 30 minutes of clinic training with our experienced coaching staff, and then a 30 minute "Small Area" cross-field game.  This will ensure that every student-athlete will receive quality training, and then have the necessary time to experiment with that training.

K-2nd (Full Equipment):  Allows student-athletes to prepare for lacrosse in pads.  Learn the fundamentals and apply them in small area games.
3rd-4th Grade:  Reinforces the fundamentals, introduces more advanced skills, and allows student-athletes to apply them in small area games.
5th-6th Grade:  Reinforces the fundamentals, provides advanced skill and performance training, and applies them to small area games.
7th-8th Grade:  Reinforces the fundamentals, introduces high school level training/skills, and applies them to small area games.

*For those who play Thunder Elite or Thunder Academy - league does not interfere with those programs.

Why Small Area Games?

  • Creates a competitive and fun atmosphere that is proven to accelerate development.
  • Creates teachable moments and various learning situations.
