Children's Storybooks Online http://www.magickeys.com/books/ Free children's books online. Just click the arrows on the side to advance to the next page. Great to use on an interactive whiteboard. 
Croatian Tales of Long Ago http://www.bulaja.com/FAIRYTALES/index3.html An interactive site where students can listen to or read the story of a Croatian Fairy Tale on their own and click on picture throughout the story to have the pictures move. There are several places that link to the CD-ROMs you can purchase on Amazon, which you may have to point out to students so that they don't navigate away from the webpage. But overall, it's a neat little site great for an ELA lesson.

Free Book-s http://www.freebook-s.com/ A search engine that scans many different collections of eBooks to find free content that matches your search 
Go Social Studies Go! http://www.gosocialstudiesgo.com/#!__plymouth ebooks about 4 different Social Studies topics: World Geography, World Religions, Ancient History, Colonial America. Great to use on an interactive whiteboard. After choosing a topic, choose a book and then click on a page corner to turn the page. Use the black scrollbar on the side to move the text page up and down. Click on the links in the text to change some of the pictures shown on the oposite page. There are even short videos included. Middle schoolers would enjoy this site. 
International Children's Digital Library http://en.childrenslibrary.org/ A virtual library of children's books from all over the world 
Online Storytime by Barnes and Noble http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/online-storytime-books-toys/379002381/ A different book is featured each month, but other books are still accessible at the bottom of the page. Many times the author or illustrator of the featured book is the reader. 
Oxford Owl http://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/FindBook Free eBooks available on this site and the books are read aloud.
