PLAXIS is a finite element program for geotechnical applications in which soil models are used to simulate the soil behavior. Moreover, the simulation of geotechnical problems by means of the finite element method implicitly involves some inevitable numerical and modeling errors.



Swedge is a quick, interactive and simple to use analysis tool for evaluating the geometry and stability of surface wedges in rock slopes. Wedges are defined by two intersecting discontinuity planes, the slope surface and an optional tension crack. Swedge provides an integrated graphical environment for fast, easy data entry and 3D model visualization.



Unwedge is a 3D stability analysis and visualization program for underground excavations in rock containing intersecting structural discontinuities.
