The ASSURE International Workshop Series

About

ASSURE which initially stood for Assurance Cases for Software-intensive Systems, is an ongoing annual international workshop that began in 2013, as a satellite workshop of the 2013 International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE). In 2014, it was collocated with the International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE). Since then, from 2015 - 2023, it has been mainly organized alongside the International Conference on Computer Safety, Reliability, and Security (SAFECOMP).

In 2023, ASSURE was organized jointly with the 10th International Workshop on the Next Generation of System Assurance Approaches for Critical Systems (SASSUR 2023).

From 2024, the workshop has been renamed to Assurance for Software-intensive Systems, reflecting a more general and expanded scope, but continuing to include the topics and scope of the previous workshops.

The websites for ASSURE from 2014 - 2018 were hosted at NASA Ames Research Center by the Intelligent Systems Division. However, changes in NASA policy resulted in a loss of website hosting privileges, and work is ongoing to restore those websites on a different hosting platform.
