OpenTDD is an enterprise simulation game in which players try to earn money via transporting passengers and freight by road, rail, water and air. We use this game for Enterprise Education and to build parent/child communication and cooperation.

OpenTTD
duplicates most features of Transport Tycoon Deluxe and has many additions, including a range of map sizes, support for many languages, custom (user-made) artificial intelligence (AI) and downloadable customisations. It has ports for several widely used operating systems. and a more user-friendly interface than Transport Tycoon Deluxe. OpenTTD also baosts a more user-friendly interface local area network (LAN), multiplayer capabilities (co-operative and competitive) and a gaming experience for up to 255 players all within 15 separate, in game, companies (17 players per company). We normally play with two people (parent/child  per company (30 people tops!

OpenTDD is played in a spirit of cooperation and friendly Social Enterprise at The Quaker Meeting House in Welwyn Garden City, every Saturday from 10 a.m. to Noon. We are neurodiversity friendly, and welcome parents and children of all abilities from noobs to the highly experienced.
