Tag association redux
Tag association redux
So my last attempt at tag association was kind of pititful with all the award tags in there. I had the search sorting by most relevant hits first. I decided to see what would happen if I sorted by most recent. So... It searches the most recent 1000 photos with the tag "utata". The most common tag (other than "utata" obviously) is nikon. So it does the same with nikon and gets d200. It does the same with d200 and ends up back at nikon. I wrote it so it won't continually bounce between them, so it falls back on the next option, 2008. etc. We got 12 place related tags, 6 date tags, 4 people tags, 3 different camera tags. We spanned the globe from St Louis to Tokyo to Vancouver to Niagra Falls. :) The connection that puzzles me the most though is Fernando -> Canada. Uh, what?
Lloyd’s Insurance and Investments Identity Package
Lloyd’s Insurance and Investments Identity Package
Background Lloyd’s Insurance and Investments is a small, newly-formed financial concern located in Pittsburgh. As such, they wanted an identity package that conveyed the solidity and competence of a more well-established firm. Design and Implementation I chose green and blue for their associations with the banking and insurance industries as well as for their connotations of growth and maturity as was the elegant serif font. I rounded the edges of the logo box to make the identity more welcoming than hard edges would. Outcomes The client subsequent implemented the identity across all their communications pieces and recommended my services to many other local businesses.
