Become a Member

Membership is open to those who wish to provide service to the community and who want to experience the inner reward that comes from helping others.  Members enjoy personal growth, a sense of fellowship and meaningful friendships from their association with Assistance League.  
Assistance League of Southwest Washington meets the 3rd Thursday of the month, except June and July.  Meeting time is usually 10:00am except for two or three evening meetings a year.  Meeting notices and newsletters are sent by email.
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to volunteering, you'll find many opportunities as a member of Assistance League.
Membership Levels, Responsibilities and Dues
Voting Members are asked to attend  monthly chapter meetings, participate and support the philanthropic programs and fundraising activities of the chapter and pay annual dues of $85.
Associate Members are non-voting members and support the organization by serving when and where they are able and pay annual dues of $85.
There is a one-time enrollment fee of $25 in addition to the membership dues.
Each Assistance League Chapter is responsible for raising money for their philanthropic programs.  The membership dues pay for all administrative costs and all the fundraising money support our philanthropic programs.
New member applications are accepted throughout the year.
Upon joining, new members participate in an orientation program that acquaints you with the organization and the opportunities to serve.
