Operation Art Adventures

Operation Art Adventures™ was established in 1982 to provide cultural enrichment to Salem-Keizer school children. Because schools were financially unable to provide professional entertainment as a learning experience, the need was apparent. Assistance League of Salem stepped in to fill this need with a stated goal of introducing children to the performing arts in an educational and entertaining way.
  • Over 7,000 students experience live performances in Salem-Keizer Title I elementary schools;
  • ·800 students attend Elsinore Theatre performances;
  •   2500 middle and high school students receive donations of art supplies and materials.
