Welcome to the official site for Ashland High School's Model UN Club!
The Model UN Club engages students in a political simulation where people can experience diplomacy, debate, and conflict resolution. We discuss global issues, mimicking the actual United Nations, while learning and talking about various current events.
Our club meetings consists of a topic and everyone representing a "country" while arguing for that country's opinions. Past debates have involved discussing denuclearization, the ideologies of the Syrian Civil War, and the perceived correctness of the World War I Guilt Clause. At Conferences around the area, we replicate this with delegates from other Model UN clubs.
