§  Design and synthesis of structural and functional models of heme and non-heme metalloenzymes (Cytochrome P450, NOS, SOR) and establishing the structural, electronic and spectral properties and reactivity of these synthetic models.

§  Reactivity and mechanism of these model complexes with nitric oxide as O2 analogue and various other biologically relevant molecules.

§  Design, synthesis, electronic, spectral properties and reactivity of metal-nitroxyl (M-NO-/M-HNO) compounds and biological fate of metal-nitroxyl bonds.
