Hello, and welcome from the Ashford CT Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).
The PTO is a group of dedicated volunteer parents, teachers, and residents who promote the welfare of students in cooperation with school administration by arranging programs and social events and providing a medium for exchange of ideas between teachers, parents, and residents. 
We encourage a closer relationship between home and school so that teachers and parents may better cooperate in educating children.  For the upcoming school year, the PTO will raise thousands of dollars to enrich the reading, science, music, and cultural arts programs among many other things. The PTO generally meets the first Monday evening of each month in the school library.  See the Meeting Dates page for specific dates.  Many of our meetings include guest speakers on topics such as CMTs, Ashford School's use of Smartboards,  the PBS Program, and health and wellness issues.
