Conquer Pain the Rossiter Way

Many of the most common aches and pains that we suffer are caused by the shrinking and tightening of the ligaments, tendons, and fascia that connect the body’s muscles and bones. Rossiter is a system of bodywork designed to quickly relieve pain by targeting and stretching the specific connective tissues that are the root cause of the type of pain you are experiencing.

Because all of the soft tissues in the body are interconnected, stretching the precise ones that have shrunk or tightened is difficult or impossible to do alone.

Rossiter has developed a two-person stretching program that not only alleviates structural pain but can prevent its occurrence. While the most common complaints he encounters with clients involve the back, neck, and shoulders, there's a hefty sprinkling of other stressed areas such as knees, elbows, wrists, and feet. These areas are frequently targeted for elective surgery to "cut out" the source of the pain. But Rossiter says structural pain is a symptom, not a diseased organ or a tumor. Surgery is fine; in fact it may be necessary if you have cancer, for example. Yet, surgery for structural pain can not only miss the underlying cause, but can also leave the body permanently damaged.

It's all about a foot, a person in charge, and a coach. The Rossiter System, a series of more than 100 stretching techniques designed to quickly and effectively change large amounts of connective tissue, is the brainchild of Richard Rossiter. Like a dance, it takes two people moving in concert with each other to execute the moves. The person in charge (you), lies on the floor and does the active stretching. We provides the weight and warmth of a foot to anchor the tissue and make it pliable, and simultaneously "coaches" you to stretch. The goal is pain relief that not only affects the targeted area, but is also integrated into the rest of the body.

The weight of the foot is another essential matter. We will step on the affected area  on you  so we can know how much weight you should be able to take for ten seconds.

Results are much better if Rossiter can be done on a person before you have been subjected to drugs, splints, cortisone and other injections, and especially surgery. Results are far better on tissue that had not been medically compromised. You are likely Rossiter candidates if you are motivated in personal health and fitness and like participating in health-care decisions

Significant pain relief can occur after a single session, though some types of pain may require several sessions. Symptoms that can be alleviated by Rossiter therapy include but are not limited to:

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Low Back and Hip Pain

Stiff Necks

Sore Shoulders and Arms

Foot Pain

Heel Spurs and Plantar Fascitis

Knee and Ankle Pain

Tight Calf Muscles and Hamstrings

Hand, Finger, and Thumb Pain

Headaches and Migraines

Elbow Tendonitis
