ASGARD Math 2018:
Real algebraic geometry and tropical mathematics

University of Oslo, Norway
May 2 - 5, 2018

The ASGARD Math meetings are yearly meetings aimed at bringing together mathematicians interested in algebraic geometry, commutative algebra, discrete mathematics, and related fields.
In 2018, ASGARD Math will take the form of a workshop with basic mini-courses and talks on real algebraic geometry and tropical mathematics.

Students and young researchers are particularly encouraged to participate.

Arthur Renaudineau (Université Paul Sabatier) - Tropical methods in real algebraic geometry
Kristin Shaw (MPI Leipzig) - Algebraic geometry of matroids

There are a few slots allocated for 50-minute talks given by some of the participants. If you are interested in giving a talk, please submit a title and abstract when you register (but no later than February 28).

To register for the workshop, please fill out this registration form.
