Yoga Kids encourages children to relax and have fun while they develop not only strength, coordination, flexibility and balance, but also body awareness, better focus and concentration, and self-confidence.
In Yoga Kids classes, there is a balance between spontaneity and structure, so that students learn to listen to each other as well as express themselves creatively. Students will learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way and foster a positive self-image as they feel part of a nurturing, non-competitive group. Students will significantly benefit from physical challenges, and hopefully improve their ability to manage stress and achieve relaxation.
No experience is necessary, as the class explores yoga postures through games, music, and props.
