World Vision

Asbury United Methodist Church in Harrington, Delaware
fervently prays for, and financially supports,
seven children who live overseas.
We have committed as a church
to lift these young people up in prayer,
to send them regular letters and gifts,
and to spend as a line item from our church budget
$30 per child, per month, through World Vision.
This adds up to $210 a month, or $2,520 a year.

Each country sends us a yearly Progress Report
which includes the grade the children are now in,
their weight/height, overall health, activity, and similar details.
When the update comes we also receive
a current picture of each child.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization
dedicated to working with children, families,
and their communities worldwide to reach
their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
