2013:

4-6 December 2013: SAICONSouth Asian International Conference

Nov 16-20th, Plenary Speaker: Talk on "An Islamic Approach to Humanities,"  2nd International Conference on Islamic Humanities, organized by Center for Cultural and Social Research, Tehran, Iran. 

9-11 September 2013:  9th ICIEF: Istanbul: International Conference on Islamic Economics and FInance. 

13-15th February - chaired 2nd session of National Curriculum Review Committe (NCRC) Lahore. We revised the HEC recommended curriculum for Economics for BS, MS and Ph.D. programs for implementation in Pakistani Universities. 

30-31 May 2015:    3rd Bank Indonesia International Seminar on Islamic Finance : I made two presentations at this the conference. The first talk at the conference was entitled: :Economics of Norms: Focuses on Contrasting Norms of Capitalism and Islam. Last talk at the conference was entitled Macroprudential Policy for Islamic Finance -- this emphasized the need for a balanced approach to regulation based on internal, moral and spiritual dimensions. Both of the talks explained that Islamic Financial arrangements call for a diversified set of institutions with a service orientation rather than a purely financial orientation.

Paper presented: "Re-defining Islamic Economics," -- Workshop on "Fundamental Concepts and Thoughts in Islamic Economics” held in Istanbul during 1-3 March 2013

The 2nd International Conference on Islamic Economics & Economies of the OIC Countries ICIE2013. ICIE2013 will be held on 29 - 30 January, 2013 at Prince Hotel and Residence, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Conference Talk: Logical Positivism and Islamic Economics. Mozer Kahf also gave a good presentation "Ethical Values in Conventional and Islamic Finance"  which is also attached to the conference page.
