The AIT Logo

Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication – Leonardo da Vinci

The concept and meaning of the AIT logo:

The integral symbol at the center with the wheel together symbolically stand for the three letters "a", "i" and "t". The wheel is the biggest invention of mankind, and its rotation anti-clockwise is an indication of involution (the inner path of the human soul to the self). The wheel has 5 spokes symbolically standing for the five elements (Water, Air, Fire, Space and Earth).

The integral symbol is grounded and is being raised by the rotating wheel. The grounded end of the integral symbol points to the strong roots and cultures. The other end is raised and looking up, the desire to become strong for a bright future.

The logo of Aryanet on top left conveys the social entrepreneurial initiative by Aryanet, where we join hands to give back to the society which is expected to empower all.

The Sanskrit caption "Vidya Dadathi Vinayam" (Buddhist quote in the Dhammapada) means "Knowledge Generates Humility."

vidyA = knowledge; from root vid
dadAti = dad verb, to give
vinayaM = training, discipline, cultured mannerism (from training), humbleness

(true/complete) knowledge gives discipline, from discipline comes worthiness,
from worthiness one gets wealth, from wealth (one does) good deeds, from that (comes) joy.
