I am a philosopher who specializes in applied ethics and philosophy of science. I am an "academic specialist" (sort of a permanent teaching-focused lecturer) at Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University. I received my PhD from Bowling Green State University in 2013.  I have previously been a post-doctoral fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health and have taught at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Toledo. On this site you will find information about me, my family, hobbies, teaching, and research.
