ARTS & Music FESTIVAL

BARRON PARK, LABELLE

February 1, 2014


Arts of the Inland is pleased to present our 3rd Annual Inland Arts Festi-val at Barron Park in LaBelle on February 1, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Barron Park is located along the Caloosahatchee River on the east side of SR29 at Fort Thompson Road in historic LaBelle.

Visual Artists, Literary Artists, Craftsmen will be showcasing their work for sale. All work must be an original creation, giclee or print of the art-ist.

Food vendors will be on-site and Performing Artists will be entertaining in the Gazebo throughout the day.

Set-up for vendors will be on February 1st beginning at 7:00 a.m. and must be completed by 9:00 a.m. Tear down will be after 3:00 p.m. on the 1st.

The attached application form with complete payment must be received by January 24th to reserve a space as a vendor.

Scholarship Award

Arts of the Inland presented Megan Burkhead, a student at Lehigh Senior High and a member of the Southwest Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, a grant at their September 17th meeting at ABC Framing.  The Youth Orchestra has been invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York City in April of 2014 and the grant to Megan will enable her to participate in this prestigious event.  President LaVon Koenig and Board members Jere Carrick, Joel Hawkins, Dick Kennedy, Freida Miller and Richard Georgian presented Megan with a $500 check.

Arts of the Inland (AOI) announces new membership rates for 2014.   AOI is committed to presenting and promoting the visual, literary and performing arts and with the launching of the 2014 rates, they are presenting artists with many cultural opportunities.  Upcoming events include an “Artful Evening” at Keiser University on July 11, “Perceptions” judged art show on November 10 and gallery shows/sales.
