Shattered Name

Create a drawing by using a compass and straight edge (ruler). 

1. Draw your name, first, middle, last or nickname in block style letters.

2. Draw an image that you like or represents you. For example, you may draw a sun or flower behind, next to or in the name itself.

3. "Shatter" the drawing with random lines going through the drawing

4. Use a pencil to create a value scale in each section of the drawing

5. Use a 4B or 6B pencil or a ball point pen to darken the drawing creating contrast.
