Morph Drawing:
Procedure:
Find two or more images that can be morphed together
The images can be edited in Pixlr or cut and pasted by hand. Images are to be composed so the artist has a good idea of the final product before beginning the actual drawing.
The drawing will be done in graphite (Pencil) and should have examples of the entire value scale as seen below:
Examples:
Color may be added, but the value scale must still be represented in it's entirety from black to white in graphite.
The morphed images must be a transition from one object to the other. The two objects should blend together representing a SMOOTH transition, not as if one is simply drawn on top or beside the other.
There is to be NO BLANK PAPER visible. All the parts of the composition should be used to create the drawing whether it be with the morphed images or simple design in the background. NO BLANK PAPER.
This assignment is due: April 7, 2015, the day you return from spring break.
Reflection and presentations will begin that week.
The rubric can be found and printed at the bottom of this page.
