Evolutionary Skull Tapestries

"The tapestries are another technique of expanding painting and sculptural imagery.  This is a process whereby digital images are enhanced for use in creating woven tapestries in Belgium. The tapestry process creates a textile that has historical associations and alters the imagery in subtle ways. In the case of 'Requiem for Cambodia', the computer modified one image over and over again in different scales in order to recall the niches and walls of Angkor Wat and the tragedy of Cambodia."
