What Would Eleanor Do
Challenger: Mistress Briony of Chatham

Eleanor of Aquitaine is one of our most enduring historic icons.  Born in 1124, died in 1204, a wealthy and powerful duchess in her own right, she was by marriage first the Queen of France and later the Queen of England.  She went on crusade, managed her own lands, and served as regent for Richard the Lionhearted, managing all of England, Normandy, and Aquitaine while he was on crusade.

This challenge is simple:  anything that Eleanor could have worn, used, eaten, read, whatever.  I'm simply looking for the most well-made and authentic 12th or early 13th century object someone wishes to make.  Association with Eleanor (either directly or by being something associated with high-born and wealthy people of the place and period), of course, gains large bonus points.
