Thanks to all who made our 2012 event a great success!

We returned to Fort Mason for ArtSpan Open Studios on October 12-14, 2012 with new works by six painters, including one new Co-Lab-orator.  Over 70 artists will be showing at Fort Mason's  waterfront complex of historic buildings overlooking the Golden Gate, Alcatraz and Marin County.  Fort Mason is located on Marina Blvd. at Buchanan St. (map) across from the Marina Safeway.  There is plenty of free parking in the lots along the Marina Green.

I hope you didn't miss our  Friday night preview party, October 12, 6-9PM featuring music by noted jazz vocalist Sandra Aran and guitarist Bob Brumbaloe.  Food trucks by Off the Grid were in effect!

Here's a look back at 2011's event -  ArtSpan Open Studios
at Fort Mason

What a beautiful weekend at Fort Mason!  Waves of art advocates streamed through four buildings full of Open Studios artists, sampling the talent and productivity of this creative community.

On Friday night, Off the Grid's gourmet food trucks raved on while we
beamed from the top of the exterior staircase.

ArtCoLab SF
artists brought hundreds of pieces, large and small for viewers and shoppers to enjoy.  We love our display room in Fort Mason Building C.  Room 370 is tall, airy and full of light.

Saturday brought the dedicated collectors.

Sunday, there were people walking the halls an hour early to discover new artists and visit old friends.

You all provided great feedback and we sincerely thank everyone who came out.

Your interest is essential to make Open Studios a success for all participating artists.

Thank You!
We plan to return next year!
