Ridge Spring is located on South Carolina highway 23 between Batesburg-Leesville and Johnston. There are several places on Main Street (which is highway 23) that display the works of local artists. Parking is free and so is entrance to each place that displays the art. The Art Center in Ridge Spring anchors the art displays on the Johnston side of town, and Olde Treasures anchors the Batesburg-Leesville side of town. If you are driving on highway 23 coming from the Johnston side, both these places will be on the left side of the road. If you are driving on highway 23 coming from the Batesburg-Leesville side - you guessed it - they will be on the right side of the road. The distance between the two anchors is only a few blocks, so you might want to walk. If you are interested in antiques, you may want to browse the antique shops along the way. Also, Ridge Spring was settled before the American revolution, so some of the older buildings along Main Street are worth a look as well.
