3 Hour Sessions for $30 plus materials

Ornaments, Stamped Holiday Cards & Wrapping and more

We will decorate satin, plastic and/or glass ornaments, and print some great holiday items made special with your personal touch.

Then you may choose from "Pick Your Projects" as described below.

(50 cent to $1 materials fee per ornament depending on type and size.)

You are welcome to bring some of your own plain satin and glass balls to decorate.

Old painted glass balls can be recycled.

Have a parent soak the old ornament in full-strength bleach for several minutes to remove the paint. Then rinse in warm sudsy water.  If any color is left inside, use a Q-tip to remove it.

Learn how to design and create your own print for cards, bags, boxes and ribbon.

Printing and card products provided. You may bring your own one-color gift bags, boxes and ribbon to print on or purchase some from me.

I have paint T-shirts to wear over your clothes, or you may bring your own paint smock,
or wear clothes that won't matter if they get stained with printer's ink.

Suggestion:
bring a T-shirt to decorate for a brother or sister, a scarf to decorate for mom, a cloth bag, pillowcase, or cloth placemats.
NOTE: cotton cloth works best and new items should be washed.

These projects will be followed by your choices from "Pick Your Projects" as described below.

Hand Sculpted Ornaments plus Tin Punch and Foil Embossing

Kids love to work with clay and don't get many opportunities.  We have air dry clay and oven bake polymer clay, in addition to salt dough.

($1-2 materials fee for each clay item made--depends on size. Salt dough is free.)

Tin punch is a fun project for kids of all ages who love to use a hammer and nails.  You may bring your own hammer.    We will design your own picture and to put on a lid, metal sheet, or a pie tin.  You may choose to decorate it with ribbon around the edge and color in the picture. Lids and the metal sheets make great tree ornaments.  Pie tins are nice to hang on the wall.
(50 cent to $1 materials fee per ornament depending on size.)

If you want to put your picture on a pie tin, you must BRING YOUR OWN.

These projects will be followed by your choices from "Pick Your Projects" as described below.

           Winter Holiday Projects

January    3-D Nature, Eco-Friendly, and Recycled Projects

Children love to build.  They will learn to use materials and techniques that will teach dexterity skills and require critical thinking while they put together imaginative creations.

Also, save and recycle some of your Christmas wrapping paper and scraps of other designs. We will have fun creating imaginative pictures with these recycled materials and others that I have.  This is a great project to look at things in a new and artistic way!
