A Little Bit About Us
(And Why It Should Matter To
When choosing a real estate agent you should get
to know something about the person that will work closely with you to guide
you through one of the most important single financial and investment
transactions of your life. This may be your first home purchase or sale, or
it may be your 10th, but it is still a big deal. After all, "It’s A Lot Of Money".
And it is more than just a financial transaction. These decisions affect
how and where you will probably live for at least the next few years.
Almost any competent
real estate agent can perform the basics
of assisting you in buying or selling a home. However, you should work with
someone that does more than the basics,
and someone who you can trust and feel totally comfortable with. That’s
what is so important to us. We look at every real estate transaction as if
it is for ourselves and our families. In short, we care and we’re careful.
But let us tell you about our backgrounds and some things that are
important to us.
About Al Permut -- The Person
- Born in Colorado and a second
generation native, I’ve lived in the Boulder area most of my
- I’m very proud of
and love my terrific daughter who graduated as a physician assistant from
the University of Florida, Gainesville and is working at
an orthopedic clinic in Tampa Florida. She married in
January of 2013.
- I love Colorado and all it has to
offer, and I cherish our wonderful natural resources enough to
personally contribute my time to protect them.
- I am an avid
outdoorsman and think of myself as being very environmentally
conservation minded. My recreational passions are fly fishing, hiking,
cycling, backpacking, skiing (alpine, telemark & cross country),
and watching wildlife (especially raptors like hawks and eagles).
- I’ve volunteered
for the City of Boulder, Open Space and
Mountain Parks Department as a Raptor Nest Site Monitor.
- I’ve served on the
board of directors for Boulder Flycasters, a member chapter of Trout
Unlimited, a conservation organization dedicated to preserve,
protect and restore cold water fisheries and their watersheds.
- You may meet me on
various volunteer projects building or improving trails, cleaning up
open space, cleaning up our creeks, streams and rivers and the
highways that pass by them.
- Another way I give
back to our community and the environment is that at your request, I will donate a portion of my proceeds
from each real estate transaction to an appropriate environmental organization,
selected jointly by my clients and me. Typical examples are The Nature
Conservancy, The Birds of Prey Foundation, Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, Boulder
Flycasters and others.

electronics engineer, software engineer and engineering manager in high
tech around the Boulder Valley for more than 20
years. Skills and discipline in engineering and project management
form a critical cornerstone for managing real estate transactions with

smoothly, and for problem solving successfully if issues arise.

About Jacquelyn Trobec -- The Person
- Born in Minnesota where I lived for
35 years before making a move to Colorado. I knew Colorado was my home when
I moved here! I love all that Colorado has to offer with
all its beauty and versatility.
- I have three
amazing, married children and have been blessed with eight beautiful
grandchildren. My children have all stayed in Colorado, which is
- I enjoy spending
time with family and friends! My interests include travel, skiing,
hiking, biking and spending time outdoors to name a few.
- I am a do-it-yourself
kind of person. I love to tackle projects like redecorating,
organizing and remodeling.
- My background has
been in hairdressing, retail management and running my own daycare
- After meeting Al
Permut a couple years ago, I became very interested in the real estate
business. With Al as my mentor, I was able to get my real estate
license in June of 2015. Al has been my mentor and partner in business
