LARGE FURNISHED ROOM FOR RENT IN ARLINGTON WITH PRIVATE ENTRANCE AND BATHROOM
This spacious (266 sqft, 25 m2), clean room is located on the lower level of our single-family home in a quiet, safe neighborhood, just minutes from the Arlington town center with shops, restaurants, and convenient public transportation. It takes only 40-50 minutes to reach Cambridge/Boston by bus or metro, and even less by bike or car.
The room has its own entrance (note: the door is slightly smaller than standard size—see photos). While there’s no full kitchen, the room is equipped with ample appliances for meal preparation, including a fridge/freezer, microwave, induction burner, pots and pans, toaster oven, espresso machine, traditional coffee maker, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, slow cooker, and an Actifry (a special air fryer). You'll also have access to a large sink.
There's a spacious walk-in closet, and laundry access (washer/dryer shared with us). All linens are provided, and there’s a small outdoor patio with access to a grill. Currently there is no TV (previous renter did not want it) but one can easily be added.
NOTE: an outdoor cat lives in the house (but does not come down and he is mostly outside).
Public Transportation:
3 minutes' walk to bus 350, or 10 minutes to bus 67 (both go to Alewife, Red Line).
15 minutes' walk to bus 77 (direct to Harvard Square), bus 79 (to Alewife), and bus 80 (direct to Tufts University and the Green Line).
Easy access to the Minuteman Bike Path (10 minutes to Alewife, 20 minutes to Harvard Square by bike).
On-street parking available and space in the garage to store your bike.

Rent includes all utilities (electricity, water, heating, Wi-Fi) and weekly cleaning:
$500/week
$1100/month ($1200 for two people)
No pets or smoking (even on the patio). References required, and we are happy to provide ours. Month-to-month rental, no lease.
