Welcome! I am a researcher and lecturer in economics at ETH Zurich. My work mainly focuses on the climate change issue.
One part of my research deals with the mitigation of climate change. I study the international and intergenerational coordination problems that prevent the implementation of climate change mitigation policies.
Another part of my research is about the adaptation to climate change. I focus on the role of insurance markets and regulations in limiting the negative welfare impacts of increasingly destructive climate extremes.
In my research, I develop analytical and numerical models, using microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, and decision theory.
I also teach a course on the economics of climate change.
