I was an IEEE member (November 2021 - December 2025, membership number: 92269553) and a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) (since July 2012, membership number: 123002). Previously, I was an invited IEEE Computer Society member for the Special Technical Community on Bio-Inspired Computing (November 2021-February 2023), and served as a Student Mentor for the Student Mentorship Program  (SMP 2024) organized by the IEEE India Council Industry Academia Young Professionals Committee (August-December, 2024).

As per my educational qualification, I earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jadavpur University, India in 2019. During my doctoral studies, I was an Erasmus Mundus research scholar on mobility (sponsored by the European Union) from 2015 - 2016 at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania. Earlier I earned a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, India in 2010, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from University of North Bengal, India in 2003.                 

My primary research interests include the areas related to Cellular Automata, and Theoretical Computer Science. At the intersection of my primary research focus, my publications primarily focus on the following application areas: Data Security, e-health, Industry 4.0, and Social Networks. 

In my research, I have examined the capabilities of Cellular Automata (CA) as a unifying discrete mathematical framework for developing secure, decentralized, explainable, and human-centric intelligent systems. Through my work, I have explored applications of CA across diverse domains, including random number generation, primes generation, distributed computing, cryptography, blockchains, cloud computing, IoT, and cyber-physical manufacturing systems. I have further extended this framework to intelligent information processing, text summarization, scientific modelling, and Generative AI. By integrating these interdisciplinary areas, I aim to bridge the gap between theoretical mathematical foundations and practical engineering solutions, enabling the development of trustworthy and resilient digital ecosystems for Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. My long-term research vision is to advance scalable computational methodologies that enhance security, transparency, interpretability, collaboration, and sustainable innovation across next-generation intelligent systems.
