Armis Video Of The Month

Armis is a strategy board game created in the USA, designed to challenge brain-game enthusiasts worldwide.

The objective is simple -- capture

The Rules
Illustrated in the Player's Handbook are the game board with region identification, instructions for a proper set-up, and specifics (duties, powers, mobility, and special conditions) for each player piece.

The Set-up
Once the game board is aligned 'diamondly' with water masses away from players, a 'Set-up Player' (selected by coin flip) will array his/her team of 18 player pieces within his/her set-up zone as he or she chooses given the following guidelines:
  1. Place Flag in corner space directly in front of player,
  2. Place Reserve in space adjacent to, or in front of, Flag,
  3. Place Mover 1 or 2 spaces away from Coastal Waters,
  4. Arrange pieces contiguously without holes.
The opponent's set-up must be identical (not mirror) to first set-up, after which the opponent may move first or switch board positions; if the opponent chooses to switch board positions the Set-up Player would move first.
