Garden Walk & Unique Boutique

Each year, the Garden Club holds a garden walk that showcases some of the outstanding gardens in the Arlington Heights area.  Proceeds from this event benefit club sponsored scholarships and club activities.

The Unique Boutique, held in conjunction with the Garden Walk, is a vendor fair featuring handcrafted items all oriented toward gardening.  There is an Ask-A-Gardener Booth, manned by Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Service, ready to answer all of your gardening questions .... for free.

Do you know of a special garden here in town?  We’re already on the lookout for next year’s gardens.  So if you have a garden that you’re willing to share or have a favorite garden that you’d like to nominate, please send your suggestions to: AHGCrequests@gmail.com

In Memory

We are deeply saddened to share with you that the owner of one of our featured gardens, Wendy Landwehr, passed away suddenly earlier this week.  As a tribute to Wendy, her husband Marty has asked that we enjoy Wendy’s garden this weekend, as she was looking forward to sharing it with you.  Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
