Well, even though I'm not losing my job right away, 6 months to a year they say, there is no sense in waiting until the water is up to my neck before I desert the sinking ship. I was just over a week shy of my first full year at this job when they told us this news. Is it just me, or is there just something.... odd about someone who works at a newspaper looking in the newspaper for a new job?
