Arka Ghosh

I graduated from IIT Roorkee in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. I then got a PhD from the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur working under Dr. Nitin Gupta. During my Ph.D., I created TreadWill - a progressive web app for helping young adults with symptoms of depression and anxiety. My work showed that a fully self-guided software can help young adults with their mental health (paper). Since my PhD, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Lab for Scalable Mental Health led by Dr. Jessica Schleider at Northwestern University. Broadly, I am interested in designing digital health interventions. My long-term goal is to make evidence-based healthcare accessible to everyone.
