c.      USL Memberships will expire on September 30th
You need to renew your membership prior to the lacrosse season starting.  Any individuals wanting to work Fall Ball games will have to renew now in order to be able to work the games.

d.      LadyRoc / Southwest Classic – November 17th – 18th at Reach 11.
Please email us at by 9/30 the following with regards to your availability for this tournament.  Let us know if you are available (1) all weekend; (2) only available Saturday; (3) only available Sunday; (4) only available for part of the day on Saturday (specify times available); (5) only available for part of the day on Sunday (specify times available); or (6) some combination of the foregoing.

The tournament directors are looking into bringing in additional officials this year to avoid the boondoggle of last year.  The concern now is that they will bring in more than needed and our crew will get the lesser amount of games since individuals traveling in will get priority.  Knowing everyone’s commitment ASAP will help ensure that you get a quality number of games, but that we still have enough outside assistance if need be.

e.       USL Convention Scholarships
Applications are due September 15th for anyone who would like financial assistance in attending the upcoming 2013 USL National Convention in Philadelphia held January 11-13, 2013.  USL is providing a scholarship for our Super Region in the amount of $275.  All information on how to apply for this scholarship can be found here.

e.       New Officals Training
New Officials Training will take place Saturday, November 3 @ 10am, location TBD. If you know someone who is interested in  officiating Women's Lacrosse, please have them email (or alternatively, you can send us their name and email)  to be put on a list of folks that we will contact with more information as soon as we have it available.
