Meetings in  2015:

March 5th, 2015
The Pinal County Hoarding Task Force (PCHTF) conducted a kick off meeting to introduce to other county employees and city officials our new task force on hoarding.  We had a good turnout of approximately 22 interested individuals, and entertained a healthy discussion. There were many questions directed to Mary Dickson who fielded them with much knowledge.  This was an eye opener to many of those not familiar with hoarding. Of particular interest was the need to have someone from Behavioral Health involved, or anyone who would be able to diagnose the mental condition that accompanies "hoarding tendencies", because mental illness is an integral part in recognizing true hoarding disorder.

Our next meeting will be scheduled soon, coming up in August.  Our guests will be members of the mental health arena who are professionals with the hoarding community.
