Introducing Ari Newman — the elusive Hollywood producer behind National Lampoon’s Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds' breakout role), Next Stop Wonderland (a Sundance hit acquired by Miramax for a record sum), and All My Loved Ones (Slovakia’s official Oscar submission). Raised in Providence and a Boston University grad, Newman’s films have premiered at festivals around the world — but it’s his pivot to publishing that has surprised everyone.

Ari’s debut book, America First: A Modern Fable, was the first title written and published after the 2017 Inauguration — a sharp satire of America’s political unraveling. He followed it with Mrs. Vanderbilt, a gilded-age alternate history series, and Guilty by Reason of Insanity, a prescient legal thriller that dives deep into democracy's fragility and political narcissism.

But here’s the thing: Ari doesn’t do interviews. Not since 1998, when his mother called to ask why her son was quoted in the gossip column of a Boston newspaper — something about an orgy that started after he left the party. Since then? He’s let the work speak for itself.

Today, Ari lives and works in Europe, guiding first-time authors through every step of the publishing process — with honesty, humor, and no corporate fluff. He believes in high standards, personal connection, and helping passionate creatives tell their story right.
